The iPhone 15 is rumored to bring some big changes in terms of design and features.
For example, it looks as though Apple will finally embrace USB-C charging and ditch the Lightning port.
We could also see the iPhone 15 feature a rounded design to make it more comfortable to hold, as well as upgrades to the cameras, chipset and more.
The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are both expected to feature a powerful new 3nm A17 Bionic chip and a titanium-sided design, with the Pro Max possibly boasting a new periscope zoom lens on top of that.
The iPhone 15 is likely to launch in the first half of September 2023. The pricing is expected to be similar to last year.
The iPhone 15 range is expected to offer some exciting camera upgrades.
Camera
All phones in the range are rumored to have a 48-megapixel main camera, which would be a significant upgrade for the non-Pro models. This would result in higher resolution photos and potentially more detailed images with more color and contrast.
The iPhone 15 Pro Max is also rumored to have a periscope lens available exclusively on that model.
This would allow for improved zoom capabilities.
Chip
The A17 Bionic chip is expected to be a big step up from the A16 chip used in the iPhone 14 Pro models. It will be Apple’s first chip made using TSMC’s 3nm process, which offers more power efficiency and a higher transistor density. This is expected to result in improved performance and power efficiency.
The A17 Bionic chip is expected to be exclusive to the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max (or iPhone 15 Ultra, if rumors are true).
